Soup No. 5
Friday, June 30th, 2006Doodled on CS a while ago and made a couple of sigs. Too bad the JPEG format was more than the required sig format of the forums I go to (animesuki, beerkada, seedforums). I made it into GIF format to save on KB.
The sigs are REALLY doodles, that is why they're kinda squiggly. Here are 2 versions of the same sig:

This is my favorite love triangle of the moment. XD
I also made a couple of GIFs/avatars. You could take some of them provided you ask me first. I made these with Image Ready/Photoshop CS. Take note that these are my first GIFs/avatars that is why they're not as sleekly polished as the other GIFs/avatars out there.

Another find…
Tuesday, June 27th, 2006WHOA! e.e. cummings is shaping up to be my favorite poet. Here's another poem I found. (this is recited during the Final Season commercial of Will and Grace)
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in)
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)
It's so BEAUTIFUL! XD It sums up the feelings I have for this guy who Inori knows. It's like the song Eyes On Me from Final Fantasy VIII, which I also believe, was written for an incurable romantic with an unrequited love like me.
Eyes On Me
Whenever sang my songs
On the stage on my own
Whenever sang my words
Wishing they would be heard
I saw you smiling at me
Was it real or just my fantasy?
You'd always be tehre at the corner
Of this tiny little bar
My last night here for you
Same old songs just once more
My last night here with you
Maybe yes, maybe no
I kind of liked it your way
How you shyly placed your eyes on me
Did you ever know
That I had mine on you?
Darling so there you were
With that look on your face
As if you're never hurt
As if you're never down
Shall I be the one for you
Who pinches you softly but sure?
If frown is shown then
You will know that you are no dreaming
So let me come to you
Close as I wanna be
Close enough for me
To feel your heart beating fast
And stay there as I whisper
How I love your peaceful eyes on me
Did you ever know
That I had mine on you?
Darling so share with me
Your love if you have enough
The tears if you're holding back
Or pain if that's what it is
How can I let you know
I'm more than the dress and the voice?
Just reach me out and then
You will know that you are not dreaming
Darling so there you were
With that look on your face
As if you're never hurt
As if you're never down
Shall I be the one for you
Who pinches you softly but sure?
If frown is shown then
I will know that you are not dreamer…
I plan on writing a novel about this guy. I guess it would be too late but hwat the heck. I think he was my first love, and I met him when I was in kindergarten. Kinda scary. But it was nice. Then I met him again after 20+ years. It's strange, how Fate seemed to be playing a hand into this, but of course, that was all it was…fate. And I would never meet him again.
Of sinangag and The Ways Of The Kitchen…
Saturday, June 24th, 2006I'm planning to hit 10 + pages of these random "OMGs" to ensue. It just sucks that my blog over at Friendster isn't THAT easy to edit, or whatever. It always makes my PC hang. Oh well.
I made the PERFECT sinangag a while ago. It was a little sticky, but what the heck. It was EDIBLE! :D we had mussels with corn and malunggay leaves for lunch, then we had yellowfin tuna pinangat for dinner + the sinangag. I always wanted to make sinangag the way my mom makes it, and it happened a while ago. You could say that I'm a sinangag freak just like the other members of my family are.
I've learned the best way to cook sinangag is on a teflon coated pan, like the way they do in those dozens of mixed Chinese fried rice-in-a-box kiosks we see in the malls nowadays. It doesn't stick to the pan or anything, and best of all, the rice doesn't get burnt. The only thing left to learn in my learning repertoire or whatever in cooking is learning how to cook chicken curry. I'd probably die a happy woman after that. XD
e.e. cummings
Friday, June 23rd, 2006This is my MOST favorite poem. It's written by e.e. cummings.
somewhere i have never traveled
e.e. cummings
somewhere i have never travelled; gladly beyond
any experience, your eyes have their silence:
in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me,
or which i cannot touch because they are too near
your slightest look easily will unclose me
though i have closed myself as fingers,
you open always petal by petal myself as Spring opens
(touching skilfully, mysteriously) her first rose
or if you wish be to close me, i and
my life will shut very beautifully, suddenly,
as when the heart of this flower imagines
the snow carefully everywhere descemding;
(i do not know what it is about you that closes
and opens; only something in me understands
the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses)
nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands.
The first time I heard this poem, I was immediately drawn to it. I have no idea why, but it really made my heart ache that first time. I consider it my most sacred poem. I just want to share all of this with you.
How to add avatars?
As of now, pakapa-kapa pa ako sa paglalagay ng avy. XD Pagpasensyahan na't masyadong mukhang ewan the blog ko. Di kasi ako mahilig mag diary eh…:P
